Sugarland, with the help of producer Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack), deliver the same ferocity on Enjoy The Ride. From the catchy coming-of-age kick-off single and chart-topping "Want To," to the reflective rocker "County Line" and the hopelessly optimistic "One Blue Sky," the combination of Jennifer's powerhouse country-soul voice with Kristian's passionate harmonies and deep-rooted musicality hits home, even if these two road veterans, each with a decade of club experience behind them, hardly ever see theirs. "If we can't go home, we do in our minds," Kristian explains of their songwriting process, which on this record, includes collaborations with country artist Bobby Pinson ("Want To"), Brad Paisley's co-writer Tim Owens ("Settlin'"), old pal Jeff Cohen ("April Showers") and Nashville local Lisa Carver ("One Blue Sky," "Everyday America," "County Line," "These Are The Days"). "There's a sense of nostalgia," Jennifer continues. "You pull from the time when you were figuring out who you are as a person. Like in 'Want To,' it's not only a story of falling in love, it's about that moment or a choice that could change your life. And with 'County Line,' it's about a place where you have your first kiss or get in a fight or talk about football and that time when you felt most free."

Short and Sweet, I 'enjoyed the ride' several times over... I received the CD just before a one-week December stay in Austin and San Antonio. Packed this with some all-time favorite disks to listen to in our rental car, but these Sugarland songs got the most play by far of all the music I carried along. Perfect upbeat tunes for a great time spent in two Texas towns full of life! The stories on this Sugarland disk were almost like a soundtrack for a short trip spent growing friendships past previous boundaries. Buy it, and wear it out!! -- perfect for a San Antonio / Austin swing

Love this CD. Sugarland is the bomb. Bet the folks that left the group regret it. Jennifer Nettles does have a twang in her voice, but what a voice, what an artist. And her running mate Kristian Bush, what a lucky guy. The CD is full of great tunes, Settlin, Stay, County Line and more. Get the CD, enjoy the duo. -- ONE OF MY FAVORITES

When I first heard Jennifer's voice I was a bit turned off and thought here is just another drawling female country singer. But, after listening to some of Sugarlands songs I realized that this was a power house singer with an excellent band. I now get goosebumps at times listening to Sugarland because the vocals are very powerful and the song writing is smart and not the usual country fare. These guys, Little Big Town and Rascall Flatts have brought me back to country music.
