User Reviews about For Your Entertainment

When I first heard about Adam's album I didn't even pay attention to it, as I feel that a lot of modern music is annoying and pointless. BUt my partner got the album and began listening to it, and before I knew it I was requesting particular numbers. Each track that I've listened to it good, and are a breath of fresh air in the modern music world. He has fun and sexy numbers, as well as powerful emotional numbers.

For those who dismiss him because of his eccentric style or his sexuality, get over yourself. You're not giving Mr. Lambert a chance to share his amazing vehicles with you. He really does have a pretty good voice, one that you should definitely at least give a chance. Though this may not be for everyone. Just give it a shot.

Other than that, way to go Adam! This album is a keeper! -- The truth about it is...
I love Adam. He is the reason why I watched American Idol again (not this season though, they are all awful). Hence, I will listen to whatever he puts out there. But this album...sigh...I am not sure where I should start. Let's just say that I enjoyed all the fast tempo songs and skipped all the slow songs (OMG they are awful for Adam's standard). Check out Sleepwalker..this is classic Adam and a killer guitar solo from Orianthi. Hopefully better choice of songs next round. I still love Adam though (he will always be my fav American Idol). -- Good up tempo songs
unfortunately he is not using his voice, as he did in many of his performance on stage in idols. -- okay
Who doubts that the wrong guy won 'American Idol' last year?! Adam Lambert is the ultimate entertainer, and this CD is very entertaining. He rocks, he croons, he's tough and he's tender. This is a fun CD that's great to listen to over and over. Every song is done well because that's who Lambert is. If you liked him on the show, you'll love this CD. -- The Real 'Idol' winner!
While I like Kris Allen, who won last year's American Idol, I feel that Adam Lambert is the more talented of the two...or perhaps I just prefer his style of music over Kris' style.

I'm a grandmother in my late 50's, but I've always preferred today's current music over "oldies" or "classic rock" from my youth. For Your Entertainment is dance club music and it's great! Adam's voice soars on these songs. The arrangements are good, both the music and the beat. Hard to sit still when you listen to this CD.

It would be difficult to choose a favorite track because every one of them is excellent. If pressed to do so, I might go with "Whataya Want From Me"...but "For Your Entertainment" would be a very close second, as would several others.

Any time I'm having an "off" day, I pop this CD in the player and instantly feel much better. It's happy music. I highly recommend this CD to any and all who like club (dance) music, who want a mental/physical pick-me-up, who are looking for some music with a great beat to walk or exercise to or anyone who just wants to be entertained! -- Adam Lambert May Not Have Won American Idol, but.....
