User Reviews about Jimmy Buffett: Scenes You Know By Heart
I bought this DVD on Amazon for $11.98. Sure you know the songs. Sure they are old standbys. The songs are from many different places that I had never been nor probably will ever get to. If you love Jimmy you need this. If you like Jimmy Buffett you'll want this. If you don't know if you like him or not, buy this DVD and welcome to the fraternity of Parrotheads! You will see why he's been a fan favorite and selling out shows for decades. -- A Buffett fan must have
I wish each of the songs on the DVD was from a different venue. I already had the double-disc 'Live at Wrigley Field' concert(which is excellent); I didn't need THREE of the songs from that show again. And, I don't understand why Jimmy is so fond of Hank Williams. He could leave 'Hey, Good Lookin' off future discs as far as I'm concerned. All in all, this disc is nothing I couldn't have done without. -- It's o.k, but...............
Since I have never been to Jimmy Buffett concert I found it great fun to see him perform live all of these songs that I know by heart. I prefer the older Jimmy to the younger, but it was still interesting to see some of the earlier works. But I also found the notes great as he explains why he choose the particular live version of each song. -- Worth the price just for the comments
I love it!!!
I remeber the songs from all the concerts me and brother went to.
Thank You very much. -- Parrothead
