User Reviews about Rock Dreams 2 (3-CD Set)
I purchased the original set of Rock Dreams years ago and have enjoyed the music immensely. I wondered if this 3-CD set would be similar. I believe that these selections are better as background music with the exception of a few that I like to hear loud. The number of songs for the price makes this an exceptional value. There are many rock instrumentals but the same ones seem to be recorded by a variety of conductors. This set contains music rarely found on those CDs. I like to mix these CDs with others that I listen to as a break from those that are best listened to with the volume cranked up. -- Great Value for Instrumental Rock
Royal Philharmonic is one of my favourite orchestra, and they've done it again with this masterpiece of pop/rock re-works. Some track like Hotel California, Careless Whisper, La Isla Bonita are very good. And the others are nice also. I found myself listen to them again and again, although not as often as the "Classic Rock" and "Symphonic Rock" series from London Symphony Orchestra (LSO).However, some tracks are still not-so-good... Anyway, I think this one still worth listening, and deserved 4 stars from me. -- Another Masterpiece from RPO
