I saw this first on PBS, but it was so wonderful that I wanted to share it with my husband and daughter. My daughter is an aspiring musician and she loves it and has shared it with her class mates. Plus what I loved most that it began at 3rd Street promenade in Santa Monica, CA were I had several years ago seen the original musician. My daughter has sung in the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, LA, so it was exciting to see some of the locations we've traveled. Consider this DVD for your collection!! -- A must have for students of all music

This album is not only inspiring and emotional, it is really REALLY well made. The artists who collaborate work in perfect harmony, despite being from varying cultures. This album is truly a piece of hope in a world that sometimes seems hopeless. I just saw the Playing for Change band live in San Francisco, and they rock my socks. I cannot recommend this album enough! -- A piece of hope

Wanted to buy this album for download, unfortunately without any succes because it's only available for US citizens - how could I download anyway ? I cannot order the CD or DVD... -- Why only US citizens ???

The concept itself of gathering many musicians all over the world itself it nothing short of amazing, and to be able to blend them together into songs, is even more amazing! And all the tracks actually sounded very good!

This is one of the must have CD+DVD and you won't regret buying it! In fact, i bought two! One as backup... :) -- This is trully a world music...
